this may be a weird question but...

Ill ask anyway :-)
I am not referring to psych drugs but Im wondering if you take a medication for something that treats several problems of which a person has one of...can they develop the other medical condition that it is used MAINLY to treat. Or would it likely be a coincidence that a possible diagnosis for this condition is up for question. As usual I dont want to be too specific lol but if it is answerable Id love to know what people think.
I feel really stupid asking my doc...
thanks!!

I would doubt it. But you never know with these meds. Fondly, Phillipa

Is this the sort of thing you are reffering to ??

well, more like taking a med for a heart problem that also treats a liver problem....after taking the drug for your heart you suddenly develop liver problems? Maybe it is just a weird coincidence but anyone know??

thanks
