Hey all. Its been about 3 weeks or more I think now that i have been on this combo with depakote.
Finding that it works really well except Im very sedated at about 3-5pm. But last night I had only 5mg of valium instead of 10mg and had 3 coffee's today and feel better and not sedated at all.A weird side effect I have is loss of appetite. It isnt really bothering me because I want to lose weight. I always thought Anafranil made people gain weight?
Anyway I have lost 10kg so far (i think thats about 25pounds) in this short time.
Id like to lose another 10kg if possible, then I will back to my old pre-med semi-skinny self.But because I am losing weight so fast im getting stretch marks, I mean HEAPS of them! Its annoying me. I hope they fade. I also, well use to, have an eating disorder and Im a bit worried It will re-surface if I dont start eating normally again.
Anyway I hope your all well and It would be great if anyone could post if they can relate to anything about these side effects. Thanks and take care.

Are you going to continue taking 5mg?

I've got stretch marks too! They used to be really obvious but they have faded.

Thanks Ed, I hope they fade too. Its annoying. I dont know if I will continue with the valium, its not helping me sleep at all. I see my psychatrist in a few weeks I will talk to him about it then.
Yep im in Sydney. Where abouts do your friends want to go in Sydney? There are lots of nice places here, but bad ones too. I guess its just like every city :) Not too many people come and visit my area lol I dont live in an area with a good rep. But my area isnt a bad area, I just think a lot of people are racist towards my area. Most people in my area are Immigrants from Iraq, which is not bad Im not saying its bad at all (my partner is an Immigrant from Iraq so without this I wouldnt have met him) but it kind of scares away people for some reason. Racist polititians have refered to my area on tv as an "Ethnic ghetto". God I hate racism :(
Its actually really nice having a lot of different cultures in an area, so many nice foods and different things to see and try.Ok now im rambling lol but I had to laugh when the olympics where held here in Sydney and one of the events was near my house and they were saying on TV that it was nice to include part of "Country Australia" in the Olympics!!! lol. Its in the suburbs not the country!!! lol

I think they went somewhere called Oxford Street/Road?? They've been lots of times, I think they want to move there LOL.
