I have been on Klonopin and Ativan, both of them dont really take care of this "i dont know what". I sort of still have anxiety but i feel numb.
I also take Temazepam 30mg at night which i wake up in a a panic state after it wears off around 2:30.
God i dont know what the hell to do.
Is there a way to knock your self out with out harming nuerons, psychially. Cut oxygen or something?
Anyways i am sweating like a pig typing this.
I stopped smoking Newport Cigg's becuaes it made the panic into catrophe.
Can someone tell me about beta-blockers, or something that may help during this intense situation.
Ok well, please can i have your advice.
Matt

Well, to be honest, I have *sometimes* (as in 'not always'..heh) that benzos alone can cause rebound anxiety, in particular short-half-life ones, and they can mix your mood up a bit as well...but that is an individual thing...doesn't happen all the time, etc. I just say this because benzos get such a bad rep, and they are really useful and safe meds.
Maybe you may want to consider a sedating antidepressant along with your benzos. There are some of the TCA's..Amitriptyline..Doxepin, and newer meds like Remeron. Even in fairly small doses, these can sedate and help put you to sleep, as well as work with the benzos in settling anxiety.
Anyhow..that is just IMHO..FWIW..YMMV..etc.
Best,
Jay

Matt, I've always taken benzos and never had anything like this happen to me. Are you sure that's all you're taking is you know what I mean. Fondly, Phillipa

How about the stimulants? How long have you been taking them and how much do you take? And how much coffee/diet coke/etc. are you drinking on top of that.
If you wanna lay your whole hand on the table I think I can help.
Scott
