Are you watching the Threads on Lunesta. It seems to be working for a lot of others. i'm still taking my valium. I'll see what I think after somemore data is in. But it appears to lengthen the amt of time slept . Fondly, Phillipa

Hello, vivi.
I'm sorry I don't know the answer to this problem. I will be following the thread in the hopes of finding help for my own sleep difficulties. I did want to mention to you that I had a similar experience with Klonopin. It relaxed me, but the quality of my sleep was very poor. If I take Klonopin before bed, I feel horrible the next day. It feels as if my eyes have been closed and although I haven't been awake, it doesn't feel as I've slept. It feels more like being knocked out. In spite of that, I do think Klonopin is an excellent medicine for daytime anxiety and panic attacks.

Many people on stimulants take clonidine to help with sleep. Also, the new sleeping drug Lunesta is very good.

I don't have major problems with sleep, but I do find Remeron works well, much better than Trazadone.
Remeron is quite benine, so I would give it a try.

try taking 7.5 mg of remeron.(1/2 of a 15mg tablet). It works for me. If I take the whole 15mg I feel like a zombie the next morning.

We are all so different, what works for one won't work for all. Keep trying, that's all I do.

thanks, I am going to keep trying. I took Lunesta last night and slept well. I stayed asleep for about 6 hours. Ambien would only last about 3. It did have a benzo feeling after I took it, but not the disoriented feeling I had with Ambien.
This is the end of the thread.
