My NHS (UK health service) Pdoc is named Dr Heimas.
He is without a doubt one of the slimiest most duplicitous people I have ever had to deal with.He has reduced me to tears on several occasions, this time its tears of Rage (well almost).
To cut a long story short, he has written lies about me in my hospital record. For example he said that I had a pathological fixation with a previous doctor.
I was upset because the doctor in question had been forced to retire unexpectedly, I saw doctor Heimas the a few days after this happened, no wonder I was upset about it.The last time I saw him I was totally open with him, I told him about the different medications I was on and also informed him that I’d seen a private Pdoc.
He was all smiles, when I suggested Nardil for my social anxiety he said he was OK with it and that he’d write to my GP and let him prescribe it.I saw my GP this morning; he did get a letter from Dr Heimas. Heimas said that he no longer wanted to see me as I was seeing a private doctor.
Heimas hadn’t mentioned that me seeing another doctor was a problem when I met up with him.
Further more He didn’t mention anything about Nardil except that I wanted to try it.Sorry for the rant I just had to get this of my chest.
I think Dr Heimas is probably a good person, but I wish he’d stop playing games with me!

Sorry to interrupt, but since it's about relationships with therapists, I'd like to redirect this thread to Psycho-Babble Psychology. Here's a link:
