It's probably psychosomatic with all of this talk about hypothryoid etc. But tonight I am so anxious. My heart is racing and I have this feeling of doom. I'm scared sh*tless because this is a new feeling for me. I've never felt this before. Maybe it is from stopping the Desipramine abruptly. Yes, I will tell myself that is what's from and then it will go away.

Oh, Maxime. I know how anxiety can be, especially when nothing seems to be working out. Stopping a med abruptly can make it just auger in so deeply as you get all these horrible psycho-physical symptoms deal with. I've been through that, although maybe not as strongly as what you're going through right now. I hope that with the desipramine out of your system for a few days that abates a little.

Anxiety is awful- especially when it's mixed in with depression. I can't think of two worse mixtures (well besides maybe mustard and mayo- iccck!).
I'm on my way to church but I am praying for you today..
Do you have anything to take to calm your anxiety? benzo's? Benadryl? a horse tranquilizer? ROFL.. that last one is for ME! haha.
Praying it goes away VERY SOON!

Hi Maxime!
When I stopped Abilify--something that helps my anxiety--I had a HUGE rebound anxiety reaction...it truly is probably due to the medication withdrawal, especialy if this is new to you...it should get better.
I am sorry you are having trouble with it...I too suffer from concomitant anxiety ands depresion, it can be hellish to say the least...
