I was on zoloft for a little over 2 years. I took 100mg/daily. After several attempts I have finally been without the drug for 17 days. I has a couple dizzy spells but other than that I haven't noticed much (besides being more crabby according to my husband). the reason I stopped taking zoloft is because the only thing it really did for me is make me FAT! I gained 25 pounds despite doing everything to lose weight. I am wondering how long it takes to get my meabolism back to pre-Zoloft days. Anyone know?

No, but I'm glad you told me because I'm supposed to go up on my dose and i don't feel I need it. So, I guess i won't. I wouldn't think it would take much longer for your metabolism to be back to normal unless you're on a different med now. I would think it is all out of your system by now. Fondly, Phillipa
