hello - i used to take zoloft/wellbutrin (75mg/150mg) with success, about 2 years ago. last summer after a break up and major life change i tried various AD's, and was trying to avoid the sexual side effects of SSRI's. when i took wellbutrin alone i noticed high anxiety/activation. today i experimented again with W (after 2 weeks on zoloft) and noticed less of this, and i don't remember much of an effect in the past. is there evidence that somehow the full activating effect of wellbutrin is diminished by the arrival of proper therapeutic levels of an SSRI? i hate the sexual side effects of SSRIs!!! (not that i am having any, but that's no matter). by the way, i also take remeron 30mg. any info would be useful.

In reply to SSRI's diminish activating effects of wellbutrin?, posted by greg diamond on March 18, 2005, at 15:14:40
That's an interesting question. I'd like to know the answer to that myself. Fondly, Phillipa
