Does anyone know how/why Wellbutrin affects weight? Does the drug actually speed up metabolism??
Since I've been off it for 5 months now I seem to be gaining weight every week! Wondering if metabolism is slower now without it?
Thanks.

I don't know, but if remeron makes you gain wt, then does wellbutrin really help you lose it? Or does it just keep your wt stable? Fondly, Phillipa

lose about 5% of their body weight when on it. I lost 27 lbs. on Effexor, then switched to Cymbalta, which was weight neutral for me - also more sedating than the Effexor, and now I've added Wellbutrin and I hope I can lose some more.
