abilify: mania prevention bipolar maintenance?

Hello,

Has anyone tried using abilify as a mood stabizer for bipolar disorder I. I saw it was recently approved by the FDA for acute mania and maintenance for Bipolar.

I was thinking about going off depakote and maybe increasing my abilify dosage with a doctor's approval of course.

I was wondering if anyone has tried this or has any experience with abilify as mood stabilizer?
