Hi everyone!!
I would like to know if anyone has experienced weight gain while on Lamictal. I have just been upped to 100 MG of this drug and have started gaining weight but have also started taking more Cymbalta so I am trying to figure out which is the culprit. Let me know! Thanks, Lisa

My guess would be the Cymbalta over the Lamictal.Lamictal is really supposed to be pretty weight neutral.
My dad is on both and gained weight when his AD was increased too.

Thanks.....thats makes sense. Wish I knew a way to combat the weight gain. I am on Topamax too which caused me to lose weight at first but now because of the Cymbalta doesn't seem to have any effect anymore!

I've been taking Lamictal for close to 4 years, and it has not affected my weight.I seem to recall Topamax causing weight gain. Is it possible that something else caused the loss, and then the Topamax kicked in?
This is the end of the thread.
