Well now this is an interesting feeling but still a little odd. Although my previous 2 years on effexor did have an impact on my sex drive, I think my depression was more to blame for lack of drive since orgasm etc. didn't seem to be difficult etc. etc. However I have noticed that, well, to try to phrase it politely, I have been "in the mood" in a very intense way. Is it the remeron? It wouldn't be anything to complain about but at the same time, this is not the most comfortable feeling...is it just that i forgot what a sex "drive" is?

Hi,
Speaking as a male I can say that my sex drive/performance is enhanced since I started taking this drug 4 years ago. Upon discontinuation of this drug twice for 2 weeks at a time I noticed a difference for the worse. I have no idea how this drug effects a females sex drive. JN

Yes, a very good libido, a bigger penis, nice orgasms. BUT hello weight gain and sedation, yuck.

>Yes, I've been taking it less than a month. The thing is, to make matters messy, the increse in sex drive (and thus fantasy etc.) has brought up some strong emotions related to a relationship i recently ended. so, well, for now at least, i would rather not have the increase in sex drive. also, i am still in a sort of "haze"...like i am a little drunk. is this pretty common? does it take a while to wear off? thanks again...holly
