GOING OFF EFFEXOR

Hi,

Thought I might share my withdrawal experince.
I have been on 300mg EFFEXOR XR for approx 18months and now feel its time to stop.
Saw my pd on last Friday and this is her approach which I started today.
Cut down from 300 mg to 150 mg starting this morning.
7/2/05 All is ok, slight metal taste in mouth and a bit fuzzy in the head. It has been 5 hrs since my initial dose reduction.
