Can you combine Remeron with an SSRI, or with Wellbutrin? Are there any antidepressants that Remeron is more commonly combined with? Any that it shouldn't be combined with? Any feedback is appreciated.

It's pretty common that when remeron isn't working, docs combine it with a low dose wellbutrin. I guess it kind of gives it a little "kick".

I have been taking remeron with lexapro & it works very well with me.

I took it at periods with Luvox, and also with Cymbalta.. everyone's body of course is different.

I took it with paxil, effexor, neurontin, and a couple of others i can't remember..

Hi, I take it with 225mg of Efexor. I started the Efexor first, then came the Remeron.

Thanks for the input. So far Wellbutrin has been the only AD that doesn’t cause rapid cycling for me, but it causes agitation and some insomnia.
