which would work better to combine with wellbutrin? From my current knowledge, tyrosine ultimately converts to phenylalanine and then ultimately to dopamine. Does that sound right to anyone who might know? If this is so, which amino acid would be better to supplement the effects of wellbutrin?

In reply to tyrosine or phenylalanine w/ wellbutrin??, posted by bart on January 16, 2005, at 13:24:04
For a more noticable affect, L-tyrosine with Wellbutrin will make a difference. But beware i recommend do not take more than 3 grams with bupropion, becuase throught my expereince, it induced a siezure.
Phenylalanine would be noticable later after you take it, its more mood lifting. PEA turns to tyrosine in the body, you will notice some 'lift' later.
but i really dont recommend you take both supplements aggresively together, because i have taken both, nad bad side effects can occur.
Good Day
