I was taking 450 mgs of Wellbutrin XL, a 300mg pill and a 150mg pill. I just started taking the 300mg pill and not the 150mg pill. When can I stop taking the 300mg pill ? Can I just go cold turkey with this stuff ? How do I get off this stuff ?

Hi,
May I ask why you want to get off of Wellbutrin?
I just started it and am having trouble adjusting to it. I am wondering if this medication has helped you. :) anneL

I've been on the Wellbutrin over a year and I can't say it has done anything for me. I didn't get any extra energy from it like a lot of people say they do and I don't think it's done anything for me as far as depression goes. I have bipolar and this was a good choice as far as an antidepressant but I think it makes me irritable at times and I'm just tired of that. It's effecting what kind of person I am and I want to be the nice, kind me I use to be.
