Anyone have experience in the two and how they relate in regards to Social Phobia. It would seem that Valium might be better in that is has a long half life, even longer than Klonopin. Is it any better in regards to causing depression than Klonopin? I recently tried Xanax after using Klonopin and can't say that I found it better in any regard. I thought it's onset of action might be faster, but in my case I did not see any difference- although YMMV as they say.

I 'think' most people do not find Valium effective for SP.
I certainly didn't find it effective were as I do find Klonopin somewhat effective.Despite having a long half life Valiam actualy has quite a short duration of action. There is a scientific explination for this, but I've forgoten what it is, sorry.
Having said all that I'm sure some people experience good results with Valium for SP, YMMV!
