And how are you feeling? I switched from Effexor and so far I'm doing well. Had a couple of rough days in transistion, but suddenly I have lots of energy, like when I began Effexor.
This time though it's not such a "speedy" feeling. I didn't even feel the need take my Klonopin mid-day for the horrendous anxiety I get on and off.
Anyway, I'd like to know how others are doing at this dose and what you tried that didn't work before trying Cymbalta.
Thanks!

In reply to Who else is on 40mg Cymbalta?, posted by Colleen D. on November 25, 2004, at 19:48:03
I have been on 40 mg of Cymbalta for a month, with no improvement. In fact, it seems my anxiety is worse. I thought maybe I need to go up higher, tried 60 mg for a few days and it seemed worse. I have decided to try a mood stabilizer--Lamictal. I will probably drop Cymbalta.
Previously I have been on Zoloft, Prozac, Remeron, Paxil, Buspirone, Lexapro, Geodon, and Anafranil.
I have depression and GAD
Paxil and Anafranil were the best, as they also seemed to help anxiety as well. BUT both caused weight gain, especially Paxil. If I get into trouble I know Anafranil is there. It felt like a more balanced med than the SSRIs.
This is the end of the thread.
