Always tired, low motivation, daytime sleep attacks, anxiety [hand tremor especially in social situations]chronic low self esteem, unable to focus, concentrate, quick temper, low frustration tolerance, ocassional mental foginess and mental confusion, heat intolerance [thyroids are normal on last test].
1. Psychostim helps: very calming yet partially stimulating especially for mental motivation, obliterates temper/ frustration does wonders for patience also dont feel sleepy during the daytime. On the downside, its induces a mild depression and ocassionally causes hand tremor.
2. depression fixed by prozac but that causes nervousness and anhedonia and sexual dysfunction. Somewhat fixed by a higher psychostim dose but at the expence of making me very "high" and sleepy..........damnn!
3. beta blocker helps with handtremor.
4. cant tolerate mood stabilizers, make me irritable.........nasty!!!
5. benzo's are a no no. dumbing
6. Never tried an atypical antipsychotic, not psychotic but i feel it may help with depression and anxiety in very very low doses.
7. ALL DOPAMINERGIC DRUGS lift my depression with the sole exeption of Welbutrin [made me hyper and irritable]. Trivastal Retard, bromocritpine, Hydergine, sinemet, prolopa, all calm me down and yet makes me feel alive. Never tried Selegiline [aldapryl] Not available]
What can i do??

In the USA, not much. Dopaminergic medications for treatment of depression are rare, exept Wellbutrin, of course.Too bad Merital was so quickly removed from the marketplace. It was a good dopaminergic AD.

Have you considered trying the dopamine agonist pramipexole (Mirapex/Mirapexin)? Can cause sleep attacks though!!
