Hi....
I posted this above, but feared it got buried....
I've been on 60 cymbalta for 6 days and I've got a constant headache. I am HOPING the headache is related to withdrawing from other meds (I tapered off effexor slowly and am cutting desipramine and elavil in half down to 25mg of each.) The Cymbalta seems to be helping with my chronic vulvar pain, but I can't take this headache! I'd love to hear from anyone with experience or suggestions that might help.
I am really prone to headache. Both neurontin and lamictal were therapeutic for me, but I had to abandon them because of headache. And I'm aware that's an unlikely side effect.
And while I'm complaining... I have a terrific neurologist who is, unfortunately, out of the country right now. My pdoc is great but headache is not his area of expertise and the drug is so new....
Any help out there?
Lia
