I have the same problem. I've already cut my Zyprexa dose by 1/3. I'm going to see my pdoc today and will discuss getting off it entirely.
On the other hand, I think it's a very good drug. It wiped out my anxiety and I think it has AD effects. If I were less depressed and could tolerate exercise I might stay on it.

I find that the first couple of weeks are the worst, for craving uncontrolably. Use locic to judge. Keep the theory that you should always feel hungry. Look at the scales every day in the morning.

i couldn't take the stuff. it turned off the "ok, now you are full" switch in my brain. dreadful. plus i slept like a bear in hibernation. took me a long time to take off the pounds it added.

Try using Amantadine with Zyprexa. It supposedly helps with the weight gain.

10 mg was my max dose. Any thing more would cause the weight and sleep. What I'm doing now is adding lamictal to the 10 mg, instead of 15 mg zyprexa. Seems to work good.
