Has anyone tried using norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors such as Strattera or Reboxetine (Edronax) for dysthymia / amotivation / anergy?
I will be getting a script today for Reboxetine and will post the progress.Take care,
Brad

Strattera was not helpfull for my dysthymia. I am currently trying Cymbalta(three weeks)and it might be beginning to have some positive effects. Best wishes.

I am doing that right now for dysthymia and adjustment disorder (and symptoms of ADD, even though I've always tested negative for it). I've been lowering my dose of zoloft, and I just started taking the straterra two or three days ago. The downside, my doctor told me I wouldn't feel any changes for at least 3-6 weeks.
I'd be interested to know how you are doing on it.
