Hello. I just started taking some Reboxetine couple of days ago. It's a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. I noticed allmost from hte first day an increase in energy, motivation and concentration ability.
But it looks that after 3-4 days the effects fade away. Now I am considering going off for 2 days and then re taking it. Any thoughts ?
Kristel.

Hi- unfortunately I don't have any first hand experience with reboxetine, but I did have a similar experience like yours with straterra. When I titrated the dosage up a little further, the motivation and energy returned and stayed consistently. Unfortunately, I had problems with sedation and rapid heart beat. So now I am considering trying reboxetine instead.can you tell me what brand name of reobxetine you are on and what dosage you are on?
thanks

Hi. Europe here! Reboxetine (Edronax,Vestra) is not available in the USA. Reboxetine also can cause indcreased heart rate. The two are just vey similar pharmacologically so I doubt you would notice a difference.
How much Strattera you took to keep it working ?!
The recommended daily dose for Reboxetine for depression is 8mg / day and I only take 2mg. When I took more it caused concentration problems and wasn't as effective as low doses (maybe cause I am not depressed?!!)
But to keep it effective I will try to take 1 or 2 days off every 3rd day or so..

yes, i'm aware that it's only available in the EU. But I'm thinking of ordering it. Can you tell me if you have been taking Edronax or Vestra?
what sort of concentration problems were you experiencing at the higher dosage? brain fog?
As for Straterra, I found that anything above 40mg did the trick for keeping up my motivation.
thanks

Why don't you first try a dose increase?
