There's nothing wrong with it, especially since Strattera doesn't exactly work like magic or anything. Frankly, I'm surprised why more docs don't combine Strattera with a stim.
It's not like our lives are superb because we take any of these ADD meds-- I can barely read a single book for my classes. I've never tried Strattera yet, because with depression, social anxiety, and making further adjustments with my stim meds, Strattera is the last on my agenda.
I might get around to trying it this Christmas, but it's out of the question if my doc thinks it might replace my need to take amphetamines.

Strattera for me was a placebo. I may have to say, i improved i bit on orginizational skills, and attention, but never the motivation desoxyn or dexedrine will provide.
For me Wellbutrin is more effective than Strattera, which i take Wellbutrin with Desoxyn. I recently just got off dexedrine, which i took also with Wellbutrin but dexedrine feels like a moderate dose of Korean Ginseng with mental stimulation. Desoxyn doesnt, thank goodness.
Best Luck
Matt
