Due to its 5HT stimulation, Im thinking of using amitriptyline low dose with Nardil....
i've read before the combo is safe.....,

A low dosage might be OK.I experienced what I believe were the beginnings of serotonin syndrome when I added nortriptyline 50mg with Nardil 75mg. The symptoms were severe hypotension and an altered status type mild delirium. Amitriptyline is more serotonergic than is nortriptyline, so I would proceed with caution. Perhaps you will not be as sensitive to such a combination as I was. You might want to target 25mg initially.

I don't believe that such reactions are as likely when using dosages of Nardil of 45mg or less, so when you review the literature, take note of the dosage used in such combinations.
