Would appreciate any input as to your experience with this medication? Is it hel[pful for depression? Mood elevating? Motivating. I would like to take this instead of Ritalin?

I am experiencing problems with Ritalin too: it is upsetting my stomach, destroying my appetite, causing my IBS and anxiety to flare up, and seemingly doing little for my severe attentional problems. Provigil helped my energy and ADD, but caused a long list of disturbing side effects which I lack the energy or desire to adequately describe. Strattera worked well for me for about a year. it had the unique property of causing my mind to become perfectly clear. This is interesting, but I need effects that are therapeutic, not fascinating from a theoretical viewpoint. Anyway I am rambling but I will get to the point. my therapist advised me to try Strattera again, at a fairly low dose, and consider the idea of cycling off it when its fatiguing effect hit. at this point I'm feeling pretty awful, and am considering the idea. I have lots of Strattera lying around.
I hate having chronic conditions that I know are never going to go away, and taking remedies that I know will only work for a little while. But I need to function at all costs, and the Ritalin is not making me feel well at the moment.
