Hey Everyone,
Sorry to post this again, but I cannot locate the prior post..
Thanks Larry for responding....I was prescribed Ultram for foot surgery I recently had....i've been taking it for pain for about three days...I was just curious how long would I have to be on it before it caused Serotonin Syndrome??
Thanks so much,
Violet

It probably won't cause SS. Many people have combined Ultram with SSRIs. Of course, it is possible and is a legitimate concern, but I don't think the risk is that high.

>This is one of the rare occasions that I disagree with Scott. These two are very closely related & would also raise each others plasma levels. I would urge caution, or better still, get a different pain killer. Something with hydrocodone like Vicodin would be more suitable.
Cheers,
Panda.
