I get more depressed. Everytime I have been on one, i get so emotional. I take everything even more personally than normal(I take things hard as it is). I cry over other people's problems. This was the worst on lamictal. I even get suicidle. I feel hopeless on them. They all make me so wiped out and stupid. Is this something that anyone else has experienced? My pdoc doesn't believe me. I've been on a few of them and get the same reaction with all of them, just a bit more or less of it on each one. What's up with that? I was hoping that the so called miracle drug,Lamictal was going to be it but nope, couldn't handle it. Any thoughts?

I am on topamax and initially, yes, my depression worsened. Then, it leveled out. Yep, I felt suicidal for the first few days. I don't know if your drug is an anticonvulsant, but anticonvulsant are known to worsen depression. My guess is that you are not bipolar. You are unipolar and these meds do not work for you.
