I find that when I swallow with water 2mg of klonopin in the morning and 2mg a night, nothing really happens anymore.
But if i chew like say, 3 mg, in about half an hour, I'm really relaxed.
Has chewing them totally screwed my tolerance?
How long does klonopin last if you chew it?

Of course this is not 'recommended' by doctors or the like.
chewing or crushing will allow the med to get into your blood stream faster-if you have built up a tolerance then you of course would get 'more' per say from chewing/crushing
BUT i do NOT recommend this at all!!!!I was just taken off kolonipin because my tolerance was peaking.

damn, thats what i was worried about. If I swallow 2mg of klon I dont think its really effective. But if I chew 3... it works like a charm. No sweating, no complexion, no wigging out whatsoever. Does this mean my days with klon are coming to an end? Arrrrrggghhh... flowers for algernon. Do you know how much less the half life is from chewing?
what do you mean peaking? How high of a dose were you on? were you a chewer or a swallower?
Perhaps I should be on xanax. My anxiety is so severe.

at one time I was on a total of 6mg of klonipin.
peaking (to me) would mean, the dose you are on is not affective anymore, you have to ops
1. dose increase
2. new med-with non addictive qualities

Something I've mentioned before, in another thread, is the idea that benzos have kind of a "threshhold" effect. That is, suppose you need 2.5 mg in your system to do anything. Having only 1.0, or 1.5, or 2.0 will seem to have *no* effect at all, but if you have 2.5 or 3.0, above that threshhold, *then* you will have a noticeable effect.
