Which lasts longer for GAD, a single dose of Ativan or a single dose of Klonopin? (accepting they're at equal strengths)
I take Klonopin, but a friend of mine swears that he takes Ativan once in the morning and it lasts all day for his GAD, but I don't know if I believe him because I've always heard that Klonopin works longer than any other benzo.

When I was self-experimenting with Xanax, I found that one dose in the morning would be enough.
Now with the doctor-prescribed Ativan, though the books say it has a longer half-life than Xanax, I'm finding that the effective time is *less*, so need to take two doses in a day to maintain the anxiolytic effect.

>Klonopin lasts about 4 hours for me. I think there are some new extended-release formulations of some of these drugs. I know there's one for Xanax.
