Has anyone ever tried getting off Effexor. I am trying to get pregnant and want to get off. I've heard lots of bad stories though. I'm scared. When I've miised a day of Effexor, I start to feel lightheaded and anxious. I can't imagine feeling like that everyday. Any comments?

I've been off of it for more than two weeks now, cold turkey from 300mg.
What did the trick for me was Celexa 20mg ... I have had absolutely no withdrawal effects since I started taking it ... and eventually you can come off the Celexa later on.
Prozac can sometimes help as well.
