I recently started Effexor XR 37.5 mg for 1 week and then 75mg. Now after reading all of the posts I didn't see much about migraines and Effexor I don't have them unless i'm on it is this normal, will it go away, I didn't take it today cuz I didn't want the headache. Please help

I'd say my migranes (had them since I was 12) became much worse on the Effexor. What really helped was Extra-Strength Midol ... I don't know why but when a Tylenol won't work, Midol (the extra strength PMS version) always kills the migrane

I have the awful migranes too - worse at 75mg than at 37.5mg - i know it from the medicine because i have never had them before... they really stink.
