hello,
i've got a problem, i have been on paxil 10mg.
for 6 years now for ocd/depression. i recently decided i wanted to try to quit cold turkey and i was on my fifth day of no paxil and doing so-so
when my pet dog of 15 years had to be put to sleep
i loved this dog and this whole thing has sent me tailspinning immediately into a terrible depression/anxiety/ocd ridden self and i'm so f'in
miserable. as soon as he died i went back on my paxil but it's been 4 days now and i still feel terrible. should i expect to be able to have the paxil basically pick me up where it left off after 5 days or will i have to wait weeks again till i start to feel better.this sux!!
thanx for any help~

Whenever you resart, try and go to 75 % of what you were originally taking.

Hi- I went cold turkey off paxil two weeks ago and still feel liking i'm losing my f'ing mind. i'm having horrible fits of rage followed by intense crying episodes. i hate what this is doing to me and the people around me. i think it's begun to wear off, but i completely understand what you're going through. my advice- never take paxil- ever, ever again!!!

(Started Effexor) My paxil withdrawal was not bad at all, but I went off very slowly. Cold Turkey? You are a very brave soul. Try cutting it only by 25% each week for four weeks. I think that will help you.

>Hi,
10mg is a low amount no? I didn't think anyone out there took a lower dose than me (12.5mg)
