Do you think that taking a multivitamin could have any long term effect on the depressive illness ??

I think it could have a positive effect because of the vitamin, zinc and copper. It was discover that intelligent had more copper in the their copper than the average Joe. So, yes I think it could have a long term positive effect.

High copper might make you more intellegent but it can also make you very paranoid.

Really? I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing ... not that I am taking a copper supplement.
Actually many supplements can have side-effects if taken in excess. Unfortunately people seem to equate "natural" with "safe".
