Hey, hang in there. I used to be on prozac and I found that 40mg was a lot better than 20mg yeh. But it will take at least that 2 week period again before you feel the benefit of it remember. I eventually came off as it wasnt helping other problems I had, but I noticed more of a difference going up from 20mg to 40mg than I did just starting on 20mg.
good luck!xx

Hmm - sorry, dont know if that made much sense. Just to clarify, your anxiety might increase in the first couple of weeks but it will eventually subside. When I started prozac, or went up a dose, I couldnt BELIEVE how anxious I felt. Even if I felt fine, suddenly I would get palpitations and feel totally weird. It was horrible. But slowly it will decrease. Imagine it like a graph, it'll soar a bit at first, but then slowly it should decrease and end up (hopefully) much lower than before.

Hi, I hope the anxiety goes away. When I was on Prozac I needed 80 mg of to get any effect. It never made me anxious but it made me nauseous every time I had to increase it. But that eventually went away.
