I have been on 300mg of Wellbutrin for 6 months. I have also been on 20mg of Lexapro for about 5 months. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar II. My cycle is generally to be very depressed in the summer time. Go figure. Last summer I was so deperssed I couldn't get out of bed and go to work. The times I was able to do that I couldn't look presentable or do my job well at all. I have since gotten better. However have been experiencing an onset of more depression as the season goes. Should I up the Lexapro dosage or go to a different anti depressant all together? I would love to have a summer depression free. One that I could just go and have fun like I use to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am also on 600 mg of Trileptal and Xanax as needed. My mood is increasingly stabilized with the Trileptal. However as that clears up I still see the gray shades of depression looming around me. Thanks for any help or experiences at all.

There are lots of other meds to try and I wouldn't guess which ones are right for you, but don't assume the trileptal won't get you through the summer. Maybe the looming clouds will lift instead of descend.
