Everyones system is different...and I am sure the label says "check with your Doctor"...but whn my anxiety/depression was at its height, I was on 150 mg of Effexor, 3 mg per day of Xanax...and I STILL added unisom or Nyquil without any problems.
What a peaceful sleep! lol

I have also used sleeping aids with effexor and didn't have any problems.
