Have been having severe fatigue with flu-like bodyaches. Dxed years ago with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but this is worst I've ever felt. PDoc says not likely due to Effeexor since I've been on it so long; ditto for Clonazepam.
Today I have new symptom(s). Eye pain: feels like there's sand in my eyes. Also right eye sometimes twitches (not new). Both eyes feel like something is pulling on lids.
Any ideas. I may be on the verge of being labeled a "somatisizer" or "hypochondriac." :(
Thanks

Are you drinking enough water? And I mean TONS of water? I had the same problem when taking Topamax (and Effexor). The eye pain got so bad I went to the eye doc, and was told that my eyes were severely dehydrated.

You might try Refresher PM ointment for your eyes. Sand in the eyes sounds like dry eyes.

I am withdrawing from Effexor and my eyes hurt soooo bad, dry and burning and watering. I will try drinking a ton of water, maybe my eyes are dehydrated too.

To consolidate replies, I'd like to redirect follow-ups regarding withdrawing from Effexor to Psycho-Babble Withdrawal. Here's a link:
