I'm moving to San Francisco around the beginning of July. I will need a pdoc who is good at psychopharmacology and has some familiarity with chronic fatigue syndrome.
Thanks

> ThanksI live in SF and have had a very difficult time finding a good psychiatrist here. Given the city's reputation for progressivism, you'd think we'd be swimming in great psychiatrists, but that's definitely not been my experience. Except that I do think the psychiatric department at Kaiser Health Services is in general very good; but you can see the doctors there only if you are a Kaiser member. I wish I still was a member.
I'm very curious to know which doctor Chemist so greatly dislikes. There are several I'd definitely not recommend, but I don't know if I feel quite so adamant about them as he does about that one.
But if anyone has someone to recommend, I'd love to find out the name.

> snapperyou do not speak italian, i presume....a thousand thanks...but be careful: mille grazie is the equivalent of wishing a thousand beautiful women upon one....let's get up to speed on your xanax difficulties, after a minor digression: thanks to my psychiatrist in s.f., who advocated no meds at all, i went into a very severe depressive/panic state. thanks to my regular doc (name available via private email), i was relieved with 4 mg/day of xanax, and still managed to ride 50 miles/day at a 29 mph+ pace through marin county. needless to say, my esteemed shrink couldn't address the anxiety but my regular doc could, to some degree (it's pretty hard riding from the inner sunset across the gg bridge and doing the paradise loop on 4 mg xanax unless you are really over-stimulated. and yes, i did it on alternative days fixed-gear or 18-speed). so...let the begin begin....all the best, chemist
