whats the threshhold for siezures for wellbutrin?

Posted by 1980Monroe on May 8, 2004, at 10:13:36

I take the IR form of Wellbutrin, becasue sometimes the XL would lasts too long and had a bit of insomnia . Ive tooken a single dose of 200mg before, i was just in a bad mood that day. Then i read that it can cause siezeres, at 600mg or higher daily. THat gave me antz in my pantz, and i stoped doing double doses.

I have heard studies have gone up to 400mg in a single dose, usally for trial runs i read on abstracts. No siezures, but does it depend on the person?

I am no doctor, but I am almost sure it does depend on the person. Some people naturally have a low seizure threshold, while others have a high treshold IMO. Our brains are all different...
