will klonopin or xanax or whatever, or anything like that help it, until the dose of antipsychotic is out of your system? I don't mind the restlessness but the anxiety is extreme and making me want to hurt myself. Would benzos help?

I've had akathisia w/horrifying anxiety from
different medications, and it's pure hell, the worst thing I've ever experienced. Please hang on.
Yes, benzo's can be a life saver (literally) Ativan worked best for me, though Xanax works wonders for others.
