Why has Klonopin an effect on my swollen nose?

I have a swollen nose for years, and recently nortriptyline wiped the swelling away for some days, and then had no effect any more. But if i take 0,5 mg of Klonopin, the swelling goes away. Why is that? Has Klonopin an effect on vaso-dilation -constriction? Other mechanisms?
