Lamictal - Upper Respiratory and Skin Burning

Posted by ryan312 on April 12, 2004, at 15:12:47

I have only been on 25 mgs of Lamictal for 4 weeks. However, on the 3rd week I got "cold like" symptoms of a running nose and cough along with a skin burning on my back and chest. However, no rash.

Has anyone had similar symptoms? Now I am scared to go to higher dose as it is hard to know if the Lamictal caused this. thanks.

Sounds kind of weird and espescially that you would get it this late in the game. Could you just hav allergies? You could always quit the lamictal and see if things get better. I would give your doc a call though and see what he thinks.
