Again-about the Trileptal.
The past two days I have been sinking back into a sort of depression. I started taking the Trileptal on Sunday.
I am currently on Wellbutrin SR 200mg for my depression, but has anyone heard of Trileptal causing depression?
Or maybe I should call my therapist?

I wouldn't be surprised as its sister drug, Tegretol, is known to cause depression in some people. It is probably too early in treatment for you to pass judgment on Trileptal just yet. Hang in there.

I had the same experience. Trileptal depressed me. I think it was one of the side-effect listed. Anyway, it's not a surprise for me. Aren't they used to stop mania ?
