Hey Girl,
My dad and I hate shocks. We went to the computer store a few years back and bought a small pad that you plug into the wall. You touch the pad and it takes away your static electricity for a few hours. It works wonders!
Good Luck and God Bless,
Lexy

>Hi CrazyChick :)
Static electricity is caused by rubbing various things together. The biggest version of static electricity is lightning. Various plastics rubbed against each other are culprits, certain plastic soled shoes shuffled along woolen carpet can build up tremendous energy that is released when you touched something metal. You can also get it with different types of shoes on vinly or lino too. Static builds up the most on dry days, were I live, the winters are mild but very very dry & causes big static buildup, taking my jumper off at night in the dark is fun as you can see little sparks everywhere! :) I would suggest walking around the house with different or no footwear will solve your problem.
Cheers,
Panda.
