Yeah, I think the levels build for a few days and then you reach what they call a "steady state" where the blood levels still fluctuate somewhat but stay within a therapeutic window."With once daily dosing, steady state plasma concentrations are achieved within approximately one week," http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/lexapro_cp.htm
But you've been taking it since August. I think that if it's been more than a week since your last dose increase, your blood levels should be steady. What did you mean by levels "building *back* up"? Had you quit taking it for a while, or were you thinking that the booze lowered your blood levels and that they were now going back up? I'm not sure what booze does to SSRI blood levels, but I do know that I've had some bizzare hangovers on SSRIs. Hangovers that I didn't think I was going to live through. I just felt *SO* sick.

Oh yeah, another thing I forgot to mention is that I've experienced severe lethargy and apathy on all SSRIs but those side effects didn't show up for me until I had been on the medication for a while...not until I had been on them roughly four months or something like that. Unfortunately, unlike the startup side effects, these late-onset side effects of lethargy and apathy never went away for me...not until I got off the drug. It was also usually around the same time that the lethargy hit that the weight started piling on. I hate SSRIs, but better to feel sick and tired than to shoot myself, I guess.
