Is 50mg/day of Paxil CR considered a high dose??

I take it for social anxiety and mild OCD.

I am still trying to figure out what the effective dose will be for me, and don't want to go up too high too soon b/c I've heard it often takes 9-12 weeks before it really kicks in. Currently I am taking 37.5mgs and am thinking of bumping it up to 50mgs. Is 50mgs considered a "high" dose of Paxil CR?
