I have recently "upped" my Effexor dose to 225mg, in the hope that it will help my apathy and low motivation. It seems to have helped slightly.

However I have noticed that I am more drowsy and sleeping alot more, especially during the day.

Does anyone know of a drug similar to Effexor which is less likely to cause drowsiness, but which will NOT aggrevate my anxiety? I am not to worried about the sexual side effects of drugs at the moment.

I am considering taking Sulpiride/Amisulpride in a low dose to help my anxiety. Is this likely to add to the drowsiness or make me more awake and sleep less????

Any info, anyone???
