Does anyone know if it is illegal or anything at all to start seeing a psychiatrist while still seeing another one you have been seeing? i know they almost definitely wouldn't like it, but hell, most of those morons don't even like being questioned or second-guessed. So, anyone know?
Also, would they be able to find out somehow even if you didn't let them know about the other psychiatrist?
Thank you.

Hi Questionmark,
It's not illegal to see more than one pdoc. You have every right to see as many pdoc's as you need.
Confidentiality agreements prevent pdoc's from mentioning the names of anyone they are treating, so it's unlikely that they will ever learn you are seeing someone else for additional treatment.
Good luck to you!
K.
