I have been pretty happy with the way neurontin has worked for me over the past 4 years or so, but recently, when I was out of klonipin (which I really was using mostly to try not to take too much neurontin and see if my apetite would lessen) I found that no matter how much neurontin I took in a day, it was useless!!! I mean all of a sudden, out of the blue, it stopped easing my anxiety! Anyone ever experienced this with neurontin before? I have taken, over the years, as many as 4800 mgs/day to as few as 1200 mgs.
The only thing I have done differently in the past 2 weeks has been to take the doseage more evenly spaced rather than all at once as I had for a while. I found out that the body can only metabolize 1200 mgs at a time through my doc....
Weird, huh?
